Combining elite assessment with expert treatment and state of the art equipment is our strategy to get you back to your best, fast. We employ a variety of techniques and providers to ensure you get the care you need. If we are not the best facility for your problem then we are happy to help you find somewhere that is.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic can be so much more than an adjustment. We utilize our advanced training to identify problems in your movement and then select the best ways to help you get better. Many problems are a combination of issues with your joints, your muscles and the way your brain controls your muscles or perceives pain. A lot of clinics will only treat one of those problems. Good clinics will address two of the three. But at SportsPlus we use a combination of manual techniques along with corrective exercise and supportive modalities to address all three, so you get the maximum benefit from each visit. Request an initial examination or consultation today so you can see the difference for yourself
Rehabilitation
There are many things that we do at SportsPlus that help you to move and feel better, including ART®, chiropractic adjustments, and LASER, but nothing is more important or more effective than the exercises that we perform in the clinic, and that you do on your own at home/in the gym. Exercise and truly just good quality movement is what helps you to not only get better, but to stay better.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the soft-tissues of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help rehabilitate injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients. The therapists here at SportsPlus take great pride in their craft and will work with you to determine were to focus the massage and the appropriate pressure. This helps maximize the benefit of the treatment, so you walk out feeling not just more relaxed, but you actually feel better than when you arrived.
Active Release Technique (ART)
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.
AlterG Anti-Gravity
Treadmill
Step into this marvel of rehabilitation technology and feel what it’s like to be 10, 20, or 30 percent lighter (or more) when running on a treadmill. The AlterG has many real world applications, but in the end it comes down to one thing: reducing impact on the body. With antigravity technology, you can begin rehab sooner and be back on your feet quick. Even older adults who have trouble with balance, strength, or both can train aerobically on the AlterG treadmill.
Class IV LASER
A specific type of light is emitted and received by the cell membranes deep to the skin’s surface. This light creates a cascade of healing effects to the muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. LightTherapy stimulates the body’s natural repair processes; it is a painless procedure that shortens healing time while decreasing pain and inflammation. If you are into the "sciency" stuff we use a 15 watt dual wavelength (808 nm, 980nm) class IV therapy laser with continuous wave function. These features and wavelengths were chosen to help maximize pentration of the tissue and reduce treatment times.
Performance Package
Modeled after elite college and professional training rooms. The performace package features unlimted drop in appointments (up to 1 per day). Sessions are brief 5-10 minutes of whatever treatment you need so you can stay on top of your game without having to worry about scheduling.
